Harvey G. Church is retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after 26 years of service. He started his career in 1988 as a corrections officer and working positions of greater responsibility until his retirement in 2014. He has worked and administrated in all security levels to include being the Chief of Correctional Services, Captain, at the Administrative Maximum Facility in Florence CO. or the “Super-Max” of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Harvey has also worked within the Private Prison industry as the Director of the Workplace Violence Prevention Program and the Director of Staff Development and Training.
Recently, Harvey has joined forces with the Controlled F.O.R.C.E. team to create a detailed branch of training for the Corrections and Detentions industry. Harvey has developed curriculums for Correction officers, Supervisors, Managers and Facility Leadership of Correctional and Detention Facilities to better become safe, security minded and productive in this environment.
Harvey has also been nominated to be the Deputy Director of the United States National Standards of Training Association (USNSTA) which is reforming the training for Law Enforcement training throughout the United States and abroad.
